Description – Vinyasa is characterized by flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. This class is diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy and in general is a vigorous, more athletic approach to yoga.

Exhale Spa (http://www.exhalespa.com/) Central Park South & Upper East Side locations

Description- Fusing traditional vinyasa methodology with contemporary dynamic flow, this uplifting yoga practice integrates breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, strength and flexibility accompanied by steady rhythmic tunes. Open classes appeal to students of all levels, while the advanced class allows experienced students to enhance their practice with challenging poses. The basic classes appeal to new students or anyone who wants to refine their practice.

Vinyasa 3- For students with a strong ongoing practice. A Vinyasa flow class designed to be more rigorous with speed, creative sequencing, subtle alignment and/or intensive variations of poses. This class will offer the next level of challenging pose variations, dynamic sequencing, and deeper exploration of yoga’s more subtle practices (bandhas, pranayama, chanting, mudras, meditation, etc).

Vinyasa Open- Appropriate for students who are comfortable with the fluidity of Vinyasa flow and have an understanding of the basic poses.

Flexibility Training – In this class, you will learn the proper and safe technique to enhance your flexibility and take it to the next level using active and static stretches. The beginner class is for people who are starting to work on their flexibility training. The advanced class is for people who have been working on their flexibility training and want to advance into deeper stretching and contortion exercises
